We are Cady and Marisa - the owners & operators of LBG.
First of all - thank you for being here! If you are diving into the deep end on native landscaping, let us be the first to say WELCOME! Congrats on rethinking traditional landscaping and deciding to look into other options - we know there is about a million bits of information and opinions out there on what you should do with your yard. Our suggestion? Don’t listen to them - think about how you want to use your space.
That idea is where Lawn Be Gone is rooted and why we formed this company - to help aid homeowners in creating outdoor spaces that they can use, bringing nature back into our urban cityscape and finding creative ways to mesh sustainability, habitat and beauty. From the beginning, Lawn Be Gone was dreamed to be a lot of things - most importantly, an opportunity and investment for habitat and community. As it has grown, it’s become much more than putting plants in the ground - it’s become a network of urban habitats that connect, shelter and support native pollinators, birds and homeowners. We’ve had the opportunity to work with some pretty incredible people and are beyond thankful for the relationships we’ve established!
So… if you are here reading this, I’m excited that you may be part of our ‘revolution’ to bring habitat to the unused areas of our residential spaces. Below is a bit about the owners & why they do what they do.
